becoming partners in the practice of accounting. In late 1998,
after a few years of sharing space in their individual practices

THEROUX & NOWELL, LLC was formed and moved to
the present location at 53 Peck Road in Torrington, CT.
Berts areas of practice cover accounting and business
services, financial and estate tax planning, tax return
preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships and
estates. He has worked with clients in many areas of business,
including attorneys, building and mechanical contractors,
retailers, medical practitioners and service businesses.
Bert married Janet Waltos (a Torrington native) in 1964.
After thirty-eight years of being married "to the best friend
I have in the world" (a quote from Bert), they still reside
in Torrington and are enjoying watching their grandchildren
grow. Bert is a member of both the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of
Certified Public Accountants.
